How can I set up a session?

Call or email and we can discuss if we are a good fit and to see if there is some availability in the schedule. If I don't answer, kindly leave a voicemail requesting a call back with a time that you can chat for about 10 minutes. The initial consultation will be free of charge.

What are your hours?

For now, I can accommodate clients from between the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

What happens in a session?

We can explore goals of therapy, talk about childhood trauma, relationship issues or other similar things that may be weighing heavily on you. In addition, there may be times when discussing more run-of-the mill topics or events can also reveal ongoing patterns or new truths about yourself that bring catharsis or reflection.

Do you take insurance?

I am currently paneling with some insurances (Aetna commercial insurance plans) or I can offer a sliding scale fee for you. Many people also choose to use out of network benefits (especially if you have a PPO plan), for which you can assess your coverage with Thrizer. Prior to beginning therapy, I can discuss with you a rate that will work best with you. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

Do you see clients in person?

I only see clients through telehealth. I find this works best for flexibility and my schedule. This could change in the future.

How often should I be seen?

That is up to you! Some clients will like the routine of weekly visits, some will prefer to change frequency from time to time. Please reach out if you feel you are having an emergency and I can try to fit you in within an appropriate time frame.
